tighten box in the back of wall clock?
Does anyone know how to tighten the box that's on the back of a wall clock where the battery goes?
thanks but that's what i don't understand. it's tightened all the way to the plate to the point I can't tighten it anymore but it's still very loose.
Cando is correct, (and having seen quite a few of his posts, he generally IS correct) but since you seem to have already tried that and it didn't work, have another look at it and see if there is a lock washer back there. If not, you might want to add one and try it again. Just so you know though, this is a fairly common problem and the lock washer usually solves it. It will look at least similar to the one in the link.
