Comparing the Powis Parker Fastback Model 9 and Model 15xs
There are many features between the model Fastback 9 and 15 that are similar and many features that are very different. In addition to the significant price difference, a number of characteristics that distinguish these two models. This article is designed to identify the differences between these two binding tape machines.
One of the clearest differences in these features can be found in the strips of union using two models. The Fastback 9 uses strips including close and medium strips LX. LX strip is a narrow strip that requires a manual of times by the union. The operator has LX folding the strip and then place it inside the machine before placing the document within the machine to bind. These strips have a capacity of 1 / 2 inch. The strip LX half also requires a manual of times and placement within the machine and have a binding capacity of 1 ". Unlike the model 15, the Fastback 9 can bind a document using another strip known as a strip of images. This strip of images offers a custom design and is manufactured by Powis Parker to match company logos, text or images. The operator can even choose from a variety of images of pre-prepared to assist in aligning the image of the documentation requirements of the envelope.
The 15 Fastback binding machine uses strips strips known as Super. There are three sizes of Super strips that are used when linked with the model 15 Fastback. Sizes cover a narrow strip that can bind a document up to 1 / 2 ". The second size of the strip is called a half-Gaza and can bind a document up to 1 ". The size of the third band of super is capable of binding to a document that is 1 1 / 2" thick. This band is known as a band of width. Another difference between the LX strips and strips of Super is the manner in which the adhesive is where the strips themselves. The machine model 9 Fastback binding using adhesive strips that contain the same with the exact same qualities as the Model 15, however the Super have the adhesive strips placed in a manner that replicates a barcode.
Super These strips are able to "read" by the Fastback Model 15. This gives you an extreme advantage in the production of higher volume of documents Fastback model bound verses 9. The Model 15 is designed for high production and is able to handle binding documents with a cycle of forcing a 15 to 35 seconds. The Fastback model joins 9 documents constitute 35 to 45 seconds. The 15 requires a heating time of 9 minutes, where the model 9 does not require a warm-up time prior to the documents binding.
