Why does my VW Golf oil leaks or is from a recent issue of the head gasket?
I noticed yesterday when I went to my car a leak under close Oil tank …. and again today there is probably a spoon full of stains on the floor. Ive recently my thermosat head gasket and this fact could be something to do with it or have another problem with this car? Is an N reg so gettting a little … thanks =)
It is possible that the garage that did the work that nudged something is now at a loss – you may not have done the job properly. Do you know where the oil is leaking from? Try these drops until you find the source, then tell us where it came from. If you're driving the car to see excessive smoke (blue / gray) of exhaust and keep the oil level plug-in. When say oil tank – I assumed that meant the sump (usually directly under the engine in the front of the car) – if coming from the gas tank, then get it looked at as soon as possible.
