If the input shaft in transport is bad and make noise can still handle this?
Dodge 1994 4X4 makes noises with the clutch engaged, more as moves then stalled. Quiet, with the engine disconnected. So I think that is the input shaft (I think the 5speed tranny was executed under oil?) is bad. Can you still drive or hurt him more? Is the unit OK without slipping just noise. He has no money, tools or the knowledge to fix it now>
The question is not whether you can handle. The question is should you drive it. The answer is no. The more leads the worse the problem will be. save and they have set, or change it to another vehicle. If you continue driving will only get worse and more expensive to repair. Sincerely: Grumpy
