My Ford Mondeo receives an award
When I reading the newspaper this morning I found out that my new Ford Mondeo in Livingston, the 65.6 mpg diesel version of the Ford Mondeo which produces 114g/km was ranked the best in the medium car segment by Diesel Car. The 1.6 litre Ford Mondeo TDCi features Auto-Start-Stop, and is available in five door and estate bodystyles.
The article was very long, so I skipped through most of it, as I was starting to get late for work but I did feel chuffed that my car was mentioned in the newspaper. The article had a lot of interesting facts about the car, it mentioned the Mondeo was launched on 8 January 1993 and is available as a four-door saloon, a five-door hatchback, and a five-door estate.
It also said that safety is high priority in the Mondeo design, as it was the first ever car sold from the beginning with a driver's airbag in all of its versions, and has side-impact bars, seat belt pretensioners, and ABS as standard features.
Ian Robertson, Diesel Car editor, said about all diesel Mondeo models: "The Mondeo delivers driving dynamics that are second-to-none. There's a magic about the way this car handles. It is superbly nimble and poised, with great handling and excellent steering feel that crisply communications what's happening down there at the road surface."

Is a late 90s ford thunderbird a good first car?
i am a teen driver thinking of buying a thunderbird for my first car because they get decent gas mileage (24 with a V8) and they are also about 700-1000 dollars.
Could any current/previous owners tell me if it would make a good first car for a teenager, and how much would the insurrance be for that car as a teen?
